Remote does not always mean anywhere
Many employers hire remotely only in countries or states where they can run payroll, pay taxes and offer benefits. That is why a role can be fully remote and still list "United States only" or name certain states. This page shows roles that accept candidates living in the US, so you skip the ones you could not legally take.
- US only roles, sometimes limited to listed states
- Roles open across the Americas
- Roles open anywhere in the world
Working hours on US remote teams
US based teams often ask for overlap with a home time zone, for example four hours with Eastern or Pacific time. Some are fully asynchronous and care only about deadlines. The description usually states core hours, meeting expectations and whether occasional travel to team gatherings is part of the job.
Pay and benefits on US roles
Some US states require employers to publish a pay range, so many listings here show salary. When the employer states a range, you see it on the role, and the minimum salary filter works on it. Benefits, equipment budgets and home office stipends are described on the employer's page when they are offered.
