1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of personal data collected through remotemarketer.io is the administrator of the remotemarketer.io service. Contact for all privacy matters is [email protected].
2. What we collect
- Estimate answers: the channels, goal and ad budget band you choose. The estimate is calculated in your browser and needs no account.
- Account data: your email address, a hashed password and the date you confirmed your email.
- Brief data: company name, website, timeline, contact name, an optional phone number, notes and the estimate attached to the brief.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and campaign parameters in the link you arrived from.
- Messages you send us by email, and records of plans, proposals and payments for active clients.
3. Why we use it and on what basis
- To send your proposal and deliver the plan you accept (performance of a contract or steps before one).
- To answer your messages and keep records of what was agreed (legitimate interest).
- To keep the site secure, prevent abuse and understand which pages are useful (legitimate interest).
- To keep invoices and accounting records (legal obligation).
We do not sell your data and do not use it for automated decisions with legal effect.
4. Who receives your data
We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract, in these categories: a hosting provider, an email delivery provider, a payment processor for active plans, and the remote marketing specialists and partner team who prepare your proposal and deliver your plan. Each receives only what the task needs. We disclose data to authorities only where the law requires it.
5. International transfers
Our specialists and providers may be located outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. Where that happens we use safeguards recognized by law, such as standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep it
- Estimates without an account are not stored on our servers beyond technical logs.
- Briefs that did not become a plan, for up to 24 months after the last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Client records, for the length of the plan and then as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Technical logs, for up to 12 months.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. California residents can request to know and delete personal information, and we do not sell or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Write to [email protected] and we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Security
Passwords are stored as hashes, connections are encrypted, and access to client accounts is granted with the lowest permissions the work needs and removed when the plan ends.
10. Children
The service is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.
11. Changes
We update this policy when our processing changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
